Brian Donovan

Brian Donovan, MBA
Executive Director

Brian joins us from the City of Miramichi where he was the Economic Development Director for the past 3.5 years. Brian has worked in a number of industries including Forestry/Pulp and Paper, e-Commerce and Economic Development. 

Brian graduated with a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University in 1999 and had graduated from the University of New Brunswick in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Forestry.  He resides in Miramichi with his wife Joan.

Wayne Carpenter
Wayne Carpenter
Economic Development Officer

Wayne Carpenter has been with Enterprise Miramichi as an Economic Development Officer for the past 20 years. He had previously worked in the banking industry for 16 years. 

Wayne is very knowledgeable in the areas of banking, finance and business management. As a very active member of the community, he is involved with business associations, societies, service clubs and fraternal organizations.

Susan Crowder

Susan Crowder
Executive Assistant

Susan returned to the Miramichi after spending time in Nova Scotia, Labrador and Newfoundland.  She has worked extensively in the economic development sector as a Business Development Assistant with such agencies as Enterprise Cape Breton Corporation, Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency and the Canada Business Service Centre.
 
Susan recently completed her Certificate in Business Administration through Memorial University of Newfoundland.

Louis Ringuette

Louis Ringuette
Labour Force Development Officer

Louis Ringuette moved to Miramichi in 1999 as a business owner/operator and joined the Enterprise Miramichi team as the SME Diversification Coordinator in 2006 and has recently taken over as the Labour Force Development Officer. Louis brings with him over twenty years experience in the hospitality management industry.

Louis is an active community member, and has held the post of president of Downtowns Miramichi – Historic Chatham District and RÉGAF (Réseau des Gens d’Affaires Francophones). He is a graduate of l’Ecole Provinciale d’Hotellerie d’Edmundston and has a degree in Electronics Engineering Technology.

Kelly Sherrard

Kelly Sherrard, BBA
SME Diversification Coordinator

Kelly joined the Enterprise Miramichi team on October 20, 2008 with the Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) Diversification Initiative, a program aimed at helping small and medium sized enterprises within our economic base.  Kelly began her role with the Initiative as the Contract Coordinator, in April 2009, she moved into the position of Development Officer and has now taken over as the SME Diversificatio Coordinator.

Kelly graduated from the University of New Brunswick in 1996 with a degree in Business Administration.  She has previously coordinated marketing and customer service activities with Retirement Miramichi and communications and resource center activities with Heath Steele Mines.  Kelly has worked for the past seven plus years in customer care with the credit industry.  She is proud to be part of the SME Diversification Initiative assisting in the economic development of the Miramichi by helping local businesses achieve sustainable long term viability.

Brie McMahon

Brie McMahon
SME Diversification Development Officer

Brie joined Enterprise Miramichi in April 2009 as Contract Coordinator of the Miramichi SME Diversification Initiative, and has recently taken over as the SME Diversification Development Officer.

Brie graduated with a Master's Degree in Adult Education in Community Development from St. Francis Xavier University in 2009. Prior to her studies, she worked in Canada, Ethiopia and South Africa on various community development projects with organizations such as Oxfam Canada and Coady International Institute. Both her academic and professional work has focused on the value of appreciating local community assets to stimulate community development and economic growth.

Kim Drisdelle

Kim Drisdelle
Older Worker Initiative Coordinator

Kim Drisdelle joined Enterprise Miramcihi in August 2008 as the coordinator of “Targeted Initiative for Older Workers”

She brings with her 18 years of experience as a business owner/operator in the service and hospitality industry.  She has been an active member of the Community, chairing the White Gold Festival and Miramichi Canada Celebration for a number of years.  Kim completed 4 years of undergraduate studies at Universite de Moncton in education speciale as well as 2 years of undergraduate studies in French Literature and Linguistics at St. Thomas University.

She looks forward of communicating the “value” of the “older worker” to both the Miramichi Region and the Alnwick Parish (Nequac Region).
