Brian Donovan, MBA Executive Director
Brian joins us from the City of Miramichi where he was the Economic Development Director for the past 3.5 years. Brian
has worked in a number of industries including Forestry/Pulp and Paper, e-Commerce and Economic Development.
Brian graduated with a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University in 1999 and had graduated
from the University of New Brunswick in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Forestry. He resides in Miramichi
with his wife Joan.

Wayne Carpenter Economic Development Officer
Wayne Carpenter has been with Enterprise Miramichi as an Economic Development Officer for the past 20 years. He
had previously worked in the banking industry for 16 years.
Wayne is very knowledgeable in the areas of banking, finance and business management. As a very active member of
the community, he is involved with business associations, societies, service clubs and fraternal organizations.

Renée St-Pierre, B.Ps. MBA Labour Force Development Officer
Renée recently joined Enterprise Miramichi after having worked as a Human Resources Officer in Northern Québec. The fall
of 2001 she coordinated The Miramichi Trades & Technology Career Awareness Expo. In 2000 she worked as an Assistant Labour
Market Information Analyst with Human Resources Development Canada in Campbellton. Renée graduated with a Master’s degree
in Business Administration in 2000 and with a Bachelor’s degree specialized in psychology in 1998, both obtained from
the Université de Moncton.

Susan Crowder Executive Assistant
Susan returned to the Miramichi after spending time in Nova Scotia, Labrador and Newfoundland. She has worked
extensively in the economic development sector as a Business Development Assistant with such agencies as Enterprise Cape Breton
Corporation, Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency and the Canada Business Service Centre. Susan recently completed
her Certificate in Business Administration through Memorial University of Newfoundland.

Louis Ringuette
SME Diversification Coordinator
Louis Ringuette moved to Miramichi in 1999 as a business owner/operator and now joins the Enterprise Miramichi team
as the SME Diversification Coordinator. Louis brings with him over twenty years experience in the hospitality management
industry.
Louis is an active community member, and has held the post of president of Downtowns Miramichi –
Historic Chatham District and RÉGAF (Réseau des Gens d’Affaires Francophones). He is a graduate of l’Ecole
Provinciale d’Hotellerie d’Edmundston and has a degree in Electronics Engineering Technology.

Kimberly Lavoie Coordinator
Kim joined Enterprise Miramichi on February 12, 2007 as Coordinator of the new Miramichi SME Diversification Initiative,
a program aimed at helping small and medium sized enterprises within our economic base.
Kim has 24 years banking experience, coming to Enterprise Miramichi from an assistant manager role with RBC Royal Bank.
In addition to studying at St Thomas University and NBCC Moncton, Kim has completed a large number of business courses through
the Institute of Canadian Bankers.
She is proud to be a part of the Miramichi Initiative and looking forward to it’s success.
Shelley Clark Special Events & Promotions Coordinator
Shelley graduated with a degree in Tourism and Hospitality
Management, majoring in Tourism Development, from Mount Saint Vincent
University in 1995, and is nationally certified as both a Tourism Professional
and a Tourism Supervisor.
Shelley enjoys being involved in the community and volunteers
with several organizations and at various events.

Job Liaison Officer
Nadine joined the Enterprise Miramichi team in January 2008 as Job Liaison Officer. She has been in the Miramichi for
6 years, initially working for Northumberland Dairy Co-op Ltd. in the sales and marketing department for 3 years to become
an entrepreneur in 2006. She is actively involved in the community and loves helping people with their career paths and teaching
Employment Strategies to NBCC Students.
She has graduated from NBCC St.Andrews in 2002 in International Business and is a Certified International
Trade Practitioner (CITP designation) from the Forum for International Trade Training. She brings over a decade of experience
teaching languages for both the private and public sectors, coupled with a Bachelor of Arts from Université de Moncton.
